Please read the following and go through at least the steps 1-4 before contacting the Trinet administrators:
- Check your email account at the TKK for messages from the network administrators
(use a mobile connection, your friend's/flatmate's computer or go to the TKK premises) - Check the newsgroup tky.trinet.info at news.tky.fi for maintenance breaks
- Check your IP settings
- Update your network card drivers
- Test your cable in your flatmate's computer
- Plug your computer into your flatmate's ethernet socket for testing
- Plug your flatmate's computer into your ethernet socket for testing
- Borrow another network card and try connecting to the network (a card is available at the AYY's telephone exchange)
- Contact the network administrators
